1. Scope
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, these Conditions apply to all transport orders placed with Volts.ee, except for transport not covered by the Road Transport Contract Act or otherwise agreed in writing or subject to special provisions.
2. Transport contract and payment
A contract of carriage between the customer and Volts.ee is concluded when the customer orders and pays for carriage to Volts.ee or brings the consignment to Volts.ee for onward delivery.
3. Transport order
When ordering transport, the customer must provide information about the shipment.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the transport order and is liable for all costs and damages incurred by Volts.ee due to incorrect information.
3.1 Volts.ee has the right to contact the store regarding your order, specifying the dimensions and weight of the package or pallet.
The customer is also liable for the costs of late cancellation.
4. Delivery and loading of goods
Volts.ee will collect the goods from the address indicated by the customer.
5. Possible tax liability and tax liability for products subject to excise duty.
If the goods delivered by the customer for transport are subject to excise duty or other taxes in the customer's country of origin/delivery, the customer undertakes to pay all the aforementioned taxes or other charges, plus interest.
6. Delivery of the order to the subscriber and verification of age
When the order is delivered, the identity and age of the recipient will be verified. Orders will not be delivered to persons under 21 years of age.
7. Time and place of delivery.
Volts.ee will deliver the goods to the subcontractor's delivery address/nearest pick-up point within 2-8 working days after the order has been picked up from the store. Delivery time depends on the country of destination.
Delivery is made to the indicated delivery address in the yard or wherever a lorry or van can reach.
Pick-up will take place once we have notified you that the products are available for pick-up and paid our freight charges.
Products are delivered on weekdays between 8am and 5pm. Delivery outside these hours must be agreed separately.
Freight charges are based on the total weight and postcode of the order.
8. Returns and products damaged in transit.
As Volts.ee only acts as carrier of the goods, you must agree any returns with the merchant from whom you have placed the order. Please also read the conditions for damaged goods.
